I was born in the Portuguese colony of Mozambique. With the outbreak of Civil War, my parents moved us to Zimbabwe. After 9 years in Zimbabwe, political upheaval prompted my father to move the family to Johannesburg, South Africa. At the age of 25 I sold everything and moved to London where I spent the next 13.5 years in the corporate world. At age 39 and still single, I left my job and moved to Greece to work with an anti human trafficking organization. After my time in Greece, I moved to Ukraine with the same organization.

While in Ukraine, I met my husband, an American businessman living and working in China. We were engaged in London, we married in South Africa and  divided our time between Jiangsu Province, China and San Antonio, Texas for 5 years. We now reside full time in San Antonio.

I’m a stepmother to 3 adults, I have a passion for women’s ministry and I’m planted in an amazing church in San Antonio, I love to travel and am so thankful that this is something that my husband and I do together.
